　　Dear teachers and classmates:

　　Good afternoon, I am very nice to make a speech here! This time, I'd like to talk something about English. As everyone knows. English language is very important today. It is now used everywhere in the world. I love English. When I was eight, my mother sent me to an English school. At there, I played games and sang English songs with other children . I also often read English following the tapes and watch English cartoons at home. By talking with English people, I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral English. Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world. It makes me confident and brings me great pleasure. I hope I can travel around the world someday and introduce China to them in learning atmosphere. I at once fell in love with it.

　　After the arduous military training，I get absolutely absorbed in my studies. The classes given by the teachers are excellent. They provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well. They easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as I can. Frankly speaking，at first I had some difficulty following the teachers. However，through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers' guidance，I made remarkable progress. Now I've benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports. Learning is a long process; I'll keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. I also realize that only those who bring happiness for others can be truly happy. So I often take part in activities concerning public welfare. Besides study and social practice，there are entertainments as well. I do body building every day，hoping to keep healthy and energetic. Campus life is the most splendid time. But different people have different choices. The majority of students cherish their beautiful season and cherish the hope that one day they'll become outstanding. But there are indeed some students still under ignorance. They gather together for eating，drinking or playing cards. They're busy in searching for a girlfriend or a boyfriend. They forget completely about their mission as college students and the hope of their motherland. Finally，I do hope everybody can try their best to become a worthy citizen of the country.

　　I do hope everybody can become the backbone of our nation and make great contributions to society!

　　三年级着重学生基本语音的模仿，四年级则注重英文的规范书写，（五六年级才是孩子真正开始接触语法。）那么四年级是很关键的一年，因为四年级起到了承上启下的作用，我们要在三年级良好的基础上让孩子继续保持英语学习的兴趣，为将来升入高年级打下坚实的基础。

　　英语学习要求：

　　1、关于单词和句子的背诵和默写。

　　每课的单词（单词表中打的单词）要求学生能听写，要求学生回家背诵并让家长给其听写。当天教，当晚背，效果要比过几天补好得多。单词，要求家长报中文，学生写英文。课文，要求学生自己熟读给家长听然后签名的。

　　2、多听录音，每天至少20分钟。

　　听课本磁带，任何年级的都可以听，既培养语感也能加快对新学单词和句子记忆。也可以从网上下载课本录音，英语小故事和英文歌曲等录音。

　　3、多阅读，每天至少30分钟。

　　读背课文，适当拓展课外阅读，如英语小故事等。

　　误区：不一定要早上读，晚上睡觉前也可以读。读过以后睡觉记得更牢。

　　4、关于作业

　　只要有英语课，必有英语作业。请对照校讯通或家校联系本查看。我们有听写本和抄写本（2套）以及基础训练和典中点。英语家庭作业一般分为笔头和口头，其中回家听写和抄写单词和读课文请家长配合检查签字。抄写要求一律用四线格作业本和铅笔。

　　5、注意的`地方

　　多关注孩子，询问孩子在学校一天的学习是否愉快，学到了什么，可让孩子把当天学到的英语说给家长听，及时给予鼓励和建议。

　　6、一点建议：

　　四年级主要学习字母的写法，建议鼓励孩子用四线格每天练习已学字母的写法，只要坚持练习，相信您的孩子会写一手漂亮的英语。

　　The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives. Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back! Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart but if it doesn't, be content it grew in yours. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.

尊敬的各位家长,下午好：

　　首先，欢迎各位家长的到来。随着时间的流逝，孩子们在渐渐地长大，一转眼，一学期又要结束了。小学六年级，是学生在小学学习生活中最后一个阶段，是学生终生学习的一个中转站，也是小学与初中的接轨点，即将面临到一个新的环境中受到一个新的挑战、新的评价。俗话说，好的开端是成功的一半。今天我们聚在一起：“一切为了孩子，为了孩子的一切！” 下面我想利用这个机会，把我班学生的英语成绩和对学生英语学习情况的`了解来与各位家长分享和探讨。

　　学期已经快要结束，最近我们组织了多次的复习考试，对学生一学期来的学习作了简单的检测，也通过这些测试，了解学生的在学习方面的不足，以便在接下来的一个月的期终复习有所侧重。几份调研试卷，有深有浅，学生的情况大致如下：总分100分，班级最高分100分，优秀的学生有李雨婷，付钟，彭一凡，顾洁，刘响，林玉，孟遥，杨静，王威，卞翔，姚文俊，曹嘉其，韦磊等同学，不及格的也有几位同学，但是都在50分左右，相较之前都有所进步。大部分同学的成绩都较好，尤其是像陆金剑，顾思，杜成杰，朱佳文，徐峥然，张启月，潘俊辰，张丽娟，戴星星，张显佳等同学，进步尤为显著。结合平时的表现及最近检测情况，我把我们班学生大致分成三类：一类同学，学习习惯相当好，学习积极主动，上课专心听讲，作业专注、书写认真，所以作业完成的速度快，正确率高，回答问题思路清晰。第二类学生是自觉性相对差一点，作业能及时完成，上课偶尔注意力不集中，经常会出现这样或那样的小毛病。第三类学生是学习习惯差，作业能主动完成，但是书写潦潦草草，错题一大堆。讲评过的题，既不更正，也不做相应的笔记.

　　针对学生的情况，在后面的复习期间，我会努力积极调动学生的学习英语的积极性，让他们能主动参与到复习中，开展各样的活动，相互比赛，得到促进和提高。有针对性地对学生进行考前辅导。对部分学生课后帮助，像刘成宇，姚奇东，吴昊，王登楼等同学。能让所有的同学在最后的考试中，都能交给诸位家长一份满意的答卷。

　　教育好孩子是你们的心愿，也是我们老师的心愿。我相信通过我们大家的努力，所有的孩子都能在这后面的一段时间里，能有一个让人惊喜的进步，健康成长，快乐地度过他们的童年时光！谢谢大家！
