　　Many years ago, cellphone was not allowed to used for high school students. Teachers would take away students’ cellphone once they saw it. For many high school students, they are easy to be addicted to keeping chatting with their friends and not pay attention to the class. For me, I have controlled myself not to play it in the class, so I will turn off the phone and not to think about it. Some parents believe that using cellphone is not good for students, the fact is that students can learn a lot from the cellphone, they can search the Internet for more information, so as to get better solutions.

　　今年的英语歌谣比赛，从各班的保密程度及互相打探军情的状况，可以得知大家无不摩拳擦掌，希望夺下冠军宝座。我们班也不例外，老师利用了音乐、体育课程，不断紧锣密鼓地练习，希望再度拿到好成绩。

　　时间不断地逼进，再过三天就要英语歌谣比赛了，同学们卖力地练习着跳舞、唱歌，一遍又一遍，此起彼落的歌声回荡在教室中，彷彿在诉说着我们有多么努力、认真。

　　回想起这几个星期来，从选歌曲到编舞，每一个人绞尽脑汁地设计动作，努力练习歌曲的练唱着。一开始练舞蹈动作时状况百出，有人像是木头人般毫无韵律感；有人则是节拍总跟不上；有些人懒散甚至浑水摸鱼，急得老师跳脚。大家总是等老师气到脸红脖子粗，如同火山爆发地破口大骂时，才一改懒散的态度严阵以待。

　　而妈妈在比赛这段时间，常常四处奔波只为了帮我们找寻适合歌曲的造型。有时我会陪妈妈一起去买材料，没想到常常在车上一等就是好几个小时。因妈妈对任何事都要求完美。他一直很在意每一个小细节，在家中总拿我当人形模特儿，让我试穿各类型的衣服，只为了表现歌曲本身的精随。有一次，下着滂沱大雨，妈妈一样坚持要到后火车站找寻配件，她说她希望每个同学都有最独一无二的造型，并为我们留下美好的回忆。当时，我知道自己不能再懒散了，看着妈妈辛苦的付出，也让我学会了“欢喜做，甘愿受”的道理。

　　这几天我也不断地苦练吉他，希望把每一个音节修正到位。妈妈更是千万叮嘱地请吉他老师帮我试音、调音。希望在我们比赛时，我精湛的电吉它飙音技巧能为我们班的歌曲做一完美开场，在评审心中留下深刻的'印象。

　　看着同学们卖力地扭动身躯，扯开喉咙地大声欢唱，汗水淋漓的脸庞为我们的努力见证着，虽无法预知三天后的比赛成绩，但是我知道我们团结努力地朝着目标前进的心，绝对无人能及！同学们，加油吧！

　　February 19th, 20xx was the Spring Festival, the Chinese Lunar New Year. All the Chinese would en a seven day holiday starting with this day.

　　Early in the morning I was woken up by the loud explosions of firecrackers coming from far and near. After getting up I went out of my resident building to set off some fireworks. Following a loud explosion, a fire ball rose high up, illuminating the whole sky and bursting into the shape of a colorful flower. I got excited. What a ! By the time the sun rose up in the east, the air was full of the smell of gunpowder. I suddenly realized that the air was heavily polluted, for which I felt sorry but it was really a great fun!

　　When I came back to my flat, the delicious dumplings were served on the table. After breakfast, I put on my new clothes and went out of home to find my schoolmates to play together. I felt happy and gay through out the Spring Festival.
