英语中什么叫小品词

　　On turning the corner, he descended the slope.

　　“转弯”与“下坡”之间的关系，由on来表达，要理解此句，它是关键。

　　但我们发现on的前述两个意思都不能解释这个句子。考研要求我们全面把握小品词用法，扫除这种障碍。如：on后接动作时，表示“在……之后”。上句迎刃而解。

　　再比如 “with”, 如果仅知道“和……一起”，下面的句子也会有困难。

　　Companies with low accident rates work hard to keep their safety programs alive and active.(with: 具有/拥有)

　　事故率低的公司努力使其安全项目得到有效执行。

　　With care, they will take home not the problems of science and technology, but the benefits.（with表条件: 只有/只要）

　　只要用心去做，他们带回的就不会是科技的问题，而是好处。
