　　where you are 和 where are you 的区别：

　　虽说两个 where 的语意相同 ，但其语序不同，因而两个 where 引导的句子结构和类型不一样，它们的句子作用也就不同 。

　　A. where you are 是一个肯定句，为疑问词/引导词（where）+ 肯定式 you are 的句式，表意为 “ 你在哪里” ，可做句子的主语，或表语，或宾语，如：

　　1.Please tell me where you are .（where + you are ，做 tell 的直接宾语）

　　2.The problem is where you are now.

　　（where + you are 做 is 的表语）

　　3.I don' t know where you are .我不知道你在哪里。（where + you are 做 know 的宾语）

　　4. where you are is not clear .你们在哪里还不清楚。（where + you are 做 is not clear 的主语）

　　B. where are you 是一个疑问句，即 疑问词 where 疑问式 are you ？表意为 “ 你在哪里？”，且需要回答的，如：

　　——Where are you ？（你在哪里啊？）——I am here.（我在这儿呢。）
