　　In有3种空间的概念

　　1.一种是在一个比较封闭的立体空间中，

　　如：in a room, in a building, In a shop, in a car

　　2.另一种用法是在一个平面的地方里，如in a garden, in a town, in the city centre, in China。

　　3.另一种是有身体接触的在某种，一般是液体里，in a pool, in the sea, in a river.

　　At翻译成中文也表示“在”某个地方，但具体意思有什么区别呢？

　　举个例子， at the bus stop, at the door, at the traffic lights, at her desk, at reception.

　　这里“在”的地点不是一个密闭空间或者很大一块平面的地点，比如bus stop，早期只是指一个站牌，door肯定是站在门前，traffic lights和desk也都不是我们站在物体的里面，所以这个是指概念上的在地点的旁边。

　　The car is waiting at the traffic lights.

　　She is working at her desk.

　　When you leave the hotel, please leave your key at reception.

　　还有一种情况是指书本里页面上端和下端，我们可以用at the top / bottom,

　　Please write your name at the top of the page.

　　On也有两种空间的解释

　　一种是在某一个水平的平面、紧贴着的上面，

　　比如on the shelf, on a plate, on the balcony, on the floor.

　　还有一种不一定是水平的，但也是有接触面的，

　　比如on the wall, on the door, on the ceiling.

　　There are some books on the shelf.

　　There are lots of apples on those trees.

　　Don’t sit on the grass.

　　There is a stamp on the envelope.

　　Who is the man on the bicycle?/on the horse?

　　There is a label on the bottle.

　　这里指出一个词“island”, 大家可能认为使用in an island, 其实我们一般用on an island.
